For a fast and secure login to the Qred app, simply verify your identity using the NFC chip on your German ID card. To use this, you only need your personal 6-digit PIN (or the original 5-digit transport PIN from the official letter).
Don't have your PIN handy, or forgotten it?
That's no problem! If you haven't set up a PIN yet, can't find the original letter, or have simply forgotten your code, you can quickly have it reset.
The easy way: Directly at the citizens' registration office (Bürgeramt)
Simply visit your local citizens' registration office. An employee can reset or assign a new PIN for you directly at the counter in less than two minutes.
Free & uncomplicated:
Please just bring your physical ID card for this process. Resetting it is completely free of charge. Many registration offices now even offer special express counters for this purpose without requiring an appointment in advance.
